Principal Conductor of Eastern Symphony Orchestra(Beijing)and Conductor of Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra.
Distinguished young conductor,Wangjian Ouyang was born in 1982 in Jiangxi Province, China. He has studied conducting under tutelage of Prof. Zhang Guoyong at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
Between 2008 to 2012, Wangjian Ouyang was appointed as Resident Conductor of the Henan Symphony Orchestra.
In 2012, he made a very successful Europe debut with the Belgrade Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
2012-2015 season,Wangjian Ouyang was appointed as Principal Conductor of the Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra.
In December 2014, Wangjian Ouyang Huan made his critically-acclaimed debut concert as the Resident Conductor of the Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra, leading soloist Huangbin in Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. Since then, he has received invitations and collaborated with many orchestras around China such as the China National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO) , National ballet of China Symphony orchestra,Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra,Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra,Baoding Symphony Orchestra, Lanzhou Symphony Orchestra, Shanxi Symphony Orchestra.
Highlights of 2019 include the world premiere of a major new work named A Opera “Bockpecehne” by Sijun Liu In Beijing.
